About the Author

J. Inder Singh Kalra (1947–2019), popularly known as Jiggs Kalra, was a celebrated Indian food writer, journalist, culinary revivalist, restaurateur, and author. Over a career spanning several decades, he became one of the most influential voices in Indian cuisine and was widely recognized for documenting and promoting India's rich regional culinary traditions.
