A reasonable copy of this substantial volume in a pictorial dust jacket which has some shelf wear. The light blue boards are lightly marked, but the binding is sound and secure and the main contents are clean. There is some foxing to the front endpapers and other prelims, and some yellowing to the margins throughout. The rear endpapers also have some foxing. The dust jacket (now protected by a non-adhesive transparent sleeve) has not been price-clipped but is a bit shelf worn: creased, chipped and rubbed at the extremities, with a little bit of loss in a few places. There is also some creasing to the dust jacket at the top of its front inside flap. A small triangle of jacket in the top right-hand corner of the lower cover (pictured) was folded incorrectly by a previous owner when putting the protective sleeve on-this could be rectified. Overall, a decent copy of this handsome volume but with a bit of shelf wear. Initialled by both authors.
