About the Author
Heather Young’s 14-year career is an example of the rewards of hard work and professionalism. Growing up in Waterloo, Ontario, Heather would commute to Toronto for auditions and photo shoots during high school. She spent two summers in Paris, where she did her first magazine cover in 1992. While completing her university degree at McGill, Heather worked abroad in Athens, Barcelona, Hamburg, Milan and Osaka. In Europe, she was photographed for hundreds of magazines and catalogues with some of the best photographers in the business. She has been seen in dozens of commercials, television shows and films in Canada, the United States and around the world. The prestigious fashion magazine, Clin d’Oeil featured Heather in one of its articles profiling ten of Canada’s top models. Heather was also proud to be the Bioré skin-care spokes model for five years. Now living in British Columbia, Heather is pursuing a Masters degree in Publishing at Simon Fraser University.
