Noted Hoosier humorist remembered for "Fables in Slang" (1900), among many other titles. Partly-printed Document Signed, 1p, 7" X 10½", n.p., 1937 June 23. Very good. Form sent out by "Who's Who in America" for its 1938-39 edition, bearing Ade's small printed biographical entry (2" X 2½") from the previous edition affixed in the blank center area. By way of approval, Ade signs this area boldly in pencil, adding "O.K." An unusual mini-biography.
