Professor in the Pulpit

Book copy 3 signed by Editor Raymond Bryan Brown. These sermons are characterized by (1) theological and biblical concern, (2) concern for a dedicated ministry, (3) application of the gospel to practical problems in the life of the church. No subjects were assigned. The range of interest is the natural expression of the men as they prepared to preach at a given time and place. The sermons were directed to a specific congregation and yet, as is characteristic of true proclamation of the gospel, they speak to the needs of men everywhere. Like every sermon, they are set forth with the hope and prayer that they may challenge, inspire, encourage, convert, and ultimately glorify God. These 22 sermons were preached by faculty members in the chapel of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. There is wear to the cover but has no tears. The pages are clean with no markings or highlighting.
