Spiral bound in boards with printed label. Johanna Drucker notes: "The inspiration for this project was from the label on the new font, and also, from a long- standing interest in trying to create work under certain kinds of constraint, particularly the constraints offered by letterpress technology." (Johanna Drucker, Artists Books Online.) The edition comprised 40 copies printed letterpress on Rives paper, bound in quarter-bound in cloth. There were also 50 copies hors commerce, numbered and signed, which were printed on Mohawk Superfine and meant for friends. This is from the hors commerce state, and is no. 3, signed by the artist. Near fine.
