Author's black ink signature upon the title page; interior leaves are otherwise bright and clean. Binding retains some crispness. Laid-in between pages 34-35 is bookmark promoting the author's books. An uncommon book of poetry by Itawamba, Mississippi native Dr. Elmo H. Howell (1918-2013) who earned a bachelors at Ole Miss and masters and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Florida followed by a long career teaching English at Memphis State University from 1957 to 1983.
