Originally published in 1960, Rabbit, Run was John Updike s (1932 2009) second novel and first of four starring Harry "Rabbit" Angstrom. Updike went on to win Pulitzer Prizes for the final two books in the series, Rabbit Is Rich (1982) and Rabbit at Rest (1991). This attractive edition, issued in 1977, is one of the 60 volumes included in The Franklin Library s Signed Limited Edition series. All were bound in full leather with silk endpapers and a ribbon marker. Illustrations by Jerry Pinkney (1939 2021) in two color printing. .
