Wise, Steven M. RATTLING THE CAGE: TOWARD LEGAL RIGHTS FOR ANIMALS Cambridge, Massachusetts: Perseus Books 2000 Good/VG 362 pp. 8vo. Pictorial dust jacket shows shelf wear, bumping and rubbing to extremities. Autographed Indigo sticker on front, previous price sticker on back. Brown boards have shiny gilt titling down spine. Edges are bumped and rubbed, textblock edges show light soiling, name of P/O on FFEP. Signed by author on title page, highlighting and scoring on several pages throughout. Pages are square, binding is beginning to crack between FFEP and front flyleaf, but is otherwise firm. With a forward by Jane Goodall, this book would make a great reading copy or addition to any shelf. Stated first printing December 1999, copyright date 2000, full number line.
