Poet Janet Piper compiled this volume which includes photocopies of her typed poetry, a few pieces by Hartley Burr Alexander, and a short article by Elizabeth Atkins entitled 'Edna St. Vincent Millay and Her Times.' Also, there is one unbound poem and two photocopies of letters from publishers laid in. Piper's poetry appears in manuscript format, these are not published works. INSCRIBED and dated by Piper to Hubert Alexander, the son of Hartley Burr Alexander on front free endpaper; she also made corrections to several poems.Very good (corners and spine ends bumped, faint white mark on rear board).
