Contains five booklets with photos from Shetland (5 photos), Orkney (8 photos), Outer Hebrides (5 photos), Inner Hebrides (13 photos), and Highlands (4 photos). There is also an accompanying booklet wherein Susie Parr explains how she and Martin visited the various locations and how he photographed them. Each location booklet has a map which shows the exact location of each photo. Included is a loose signed postcard (4.75 x 8 inches), "Wish you were here, Martin Parr." An 8x10 inch photo numbered (86/100) and signed by Parr on the verso is included in a "Please do not bend" mailing envelope with postage attached. The booklet for Highlands shows it is the next to last photo, IV54 234 Achintraid, Strathcarron, Highlands, 2006. "Remote Scottish Postboxes is Martin Parr's first major contribution to landscape photography. Between 2004 and 2010, Parr and his wife holidayed on the Scottish mainland and outlaying islands of Orkney, Shetland, Barra, Lewis and Islay, stopping frequently to capture the local Postboxes.
