About the Author

Richard Parker was destined for success. He was the youngest broker in the Lakeland, Florida Board of Real Estate s history in the 1970s. In the 1980s, he was the Outstanding Jaycee in America and 1st place winner of the U.S. Jaycees formal speaking competition. In the 1990s, Richard built a 68-office financial planning firm and took it public, before retiring from the financial industry in 2003. Richard is the author of eight books, including Retire & Stay Retired, Enjoying the RV Lifestyle; The Tunnel of Time, a children's book, which he co-authored with his twelve-year-old granddaughter, Brittney; and six financial how-to books, which he wrote for both the general public and for industry advisors. Richard is a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA), Central Florida chapter. He has shared the stage with Zig Ziglar, Art Linkletter, Dr. Normal Vincent Peale, and the NSA founder, Cavett Robert. In the 2000s, Richard and his wife, Joan s, passion for the RV Lifestyle have made him a most popular speaker at national, regional, and local RV rallies, shows, and RV communities all across America.
