Gray marled buckram covers are mostly clean. Corners are sharp. Spine has red label with black text and is bright with firm ends. Binding is strong. Handmade paper end papers/ pastedowns show little to no sign of age or wear. Illustrations are bright and clear, hand colored. Interior exhibits minimal signs of age and wear. Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks. Text block edges have deckle fore and foot edges. And the book itself was printed at the Windhover Press in Iowa City, under the direction of Kim Merker (1932-2013).
