Vancouver, British Columbia. Privately printed in May 1984 by Art Lingren. Large octavo (9 1/2 x 8). 38 pp. plus colophon. Limited Edition. This is book number 6 of 15 copies printed for private distribution. Signed by Art Lingren on the colophon. Tipped-in black and white photo frontispiece showing Roderick Haig-Brown fishing in the Campbell River. There are 20 tipped-in high quality color photos, each measuring 6" x 4", showing the fly patterns created by Roderick Haig-Brown (the Steelhead Bee was dressed by him). There's descriptive text for each fly together with the materials required to dress the flies, along with Haig-Brown's suggestions on how to fish the patterns. The text was printed on high quality laid paper and hand-bound in brown leatherette with gilt title. The book is rare. In 30 plus years of handling Haig-Brown material, this is just the second example of this edition I've encountered. In fine condition.

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. My chosen shipping option is the U. S. Postal Service. USPS is the best in terms of service and cost efficiency. Overseas shipments are charged at cost. Other shipping options are available, such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.; however, they are frightfully expensive.
