Original 8/6d price front cover. Opening paste down in period ink writing is a dedication followed by 'From the Author' unfortunately no signature. Eighth and further improved edition, giving nearly 400 carefully prepared forms in legal matters and a complete collection of tables and rules - applicable to management of estates and property and to the calculations of all values dependent on lives, reversions, terminable payments etc. Includes tables of values of Joint Lives, according to the Government probabilities of Life. (Obviously now historic info). Front and back cover detached from binding. No spine cover. Wear on all remaining cover edges + age/handling discolouration. Main binding of text holding firm. Underside of opening cover crack across middle. First 3 pages scraped on outer middle edge. Some minor age discolouration to outer edge of pages, to be expected for age. Otherwise clean, little wear, good colour. Good minus condition because of cover.
