This is the first edition, early printing (1953 copyright date, but this is a circa 1965 printing, with "Fox in Socks" being the last book listed on the back of the dust jacket). ***** This book is SIGNED by the author (Dr. Seuss) on the page opposite the title page (and with his usual squiggle/flourish beneath his signature). Dr. Seuss did not inscribe this book to anyone; it is just signed by him. ***** Signed examples of this title are rare. ***** There is NO writing, NO bookplates, and NO remainder marks. It is NOT a book club edition and NOT a former library book. The dust jacket is NOT price-clipped (295/295).***** CONDITION: The book is in NEAR FINE condition, and the dust jacket is in GOOD condition (general shelf wear to the dust jacket, including rubbing, short tears, a couple of 1/2 x 3/4 inch chips, some creases; not perfect, but not hideous). ***** We include new mylar (clear) dust jacket covers with each dust jacket at no extra charge. ****** OUR GUARANTEE TO YOU: All books are guaranteed to be as described. We believe that no sale is complete until you are happy. Any book is returnable for a full refund (including postage) if you're not 100% satisfied. All books are packaged very carefully and shipped via USPS Mail with Delivery Confirmation. ***** Thank you!
