Large octavo (6-1/2" x 10") bound with spine and outer edges in black linen surrounding decorated paper-covered boards with the design repeated on the endpapers; 264 pages. With a new introduction by John Tracy Winterich. Illustrated with lithographs by Lynton Lamb drawn on the stone and printed at the Curwen Press. Copy #705 of 1500 numbered copies SIGNED by the artist on the colophon page. Small bookseller label of Philip C. Duschnes on the rear pastedown with their invoice from 1977 laid in. Fine in a stained, otherwise Near Fine slipcase.
