Original lithograph by San Diego artist Ivan Messenger (1895-1983), printed black ink on off-white wove. 11-1/4 " x 8-1/2" (sight); 21 " x 17" (frame). Signed in pencil LR; titles in pencil LL. No date, but ca. 1935. Framed in custom stained wood frame with 4-ply archival mat and non-reflective glass. A fine impression with full margins of a sitting monkey with a slight cubist feel. One of Messenger's most distinctive works.
