Bolotowsky, Ilya (American,1907-1981). STUDY FOR UNTITLED SERIGRAPH and UNTITLED SERIGRAPH. The Study in gouache on paper in four colors, with the artist's working color scale lower left, and his pencil signature lower right. 36 3/4 x 22 1/4 inches (image), 40 x 29 1/2 inches (sheet); the Serigraph in the same design and colors, a printer's proof inscribed "PP 5/6" and signed in pencil. Printed on Rives paper. 37 x 22 /14 inches (image), 40 x 29 1/2 inches (sheet). The painting with stray paint marks in the image, else very good; the serigraph n excellent condition.
