Historische Ortsansicht, von Gustav Georg Endner. 14,5 x 20,8 cm (Darstellung), 17 x 22,5 cm (Blatt).Das Schloss wurde im Deutsch-Französischen Krieg 1870 zerstört. Blatt bis auf den Plattenrand beschnitten und schwach fleckig. Im unteren Rand hinterlegter Einriss. Sonst noch guter Zustand.Gustav Georg Endner (1754 Nürnberg - 1824 Gohlis bei Leipzig). Deutscher Kupferstecher. Kam 1764 mit seinem Stiefvater Johann Michael Stock nach Leipzig, wo er bei diesem den Kupferstich erlernte. Ab 1773 weitere Ausbildung bei Johann Friedrich Bause. Danach zunächst für den Verleger Bernhard Christoph Breitkopf tätig. Erwarb 1785 ein Haus im Dorf Gohlis bei Leipzig. Stach vornehmlich Porträtkupfer. Lieferte für den Göttingischen Kalender Stiche nach Nikolaus Chodowiecki. Daneben entstanden Buchillustrationen, Vignetten und Titelkupfer für R.P. Charles Plumiers L'art de tourner. Die Kunst zu drechseln (Leipzig 1776), die 4. Auflage von Moritz August von Thümmels Wilhelmine (1776), Heinrich von Kleists Werke (Berlin 1778), Christian Felix Weiße Kinderfreund (1778) sowie für den Gothaer Almanach von 1787, '90, '92 und '93. Rechts unten signiert: G.G. Endner sc. Unterhalb der Darstellung betitelt. Oben links und rechts nummeriert: 11. bzw. No 9. Seller Inventory # 00109322
