Book Club edition - the only hardcover edition of this book of stories. The title novella was originally published in the August, 1979 issue of Omni. Winner of the Nebula, Locus, and Hugo Awards for Best Novelette. Fine in a near fine jacket (one short, closed tear to the bottom of the rear panel). Inscribed on the title page: "To Paul, All best. George R. R. Martin 7/24/82." Relatively scarce signed.
