Life was good until Jackson went to Sandy Creek to sell a wagonload of pelts; he was robbed and beaten by four men. The crooked sheriff sent him to prison for fighting in the street. Tori had no idea why Jackson never returned home. Tori and her four-year-old child survive some harrowing events to get to Sandy Creek six weeks later. Will she find her husband?
