Wraps, loose signatures (as issued), housed in publisher's grey silk chemise and slipcase. Unpaginated, (195 x 275 mm). Contains seven Sandburg poems each illustated with an original, copper-plate etching by Gregory Masurovsky. The edition limited to 195 copies: this copy being number III of XX HEAD COPIES, on Auvergne hand made rag paper, including an extra suite of plates on Japon Nacre, and one cancelled copper plate (contained only in copies I/XX - VII/XX). SIGNED by Masurovsky on the colophon. Printed in Paris by Pierre Jean Mathan, Etchings printed by Atelier Georges Leblanc. "As New" in a slipcase showing light wear. Size: Quarto.
