SIGNED association copy. 248pp. Octavo [21.5 cm] Sage green cloth over boards. In the illustrated dust jacket, with very subtle toning, and light edgewear. In pencil on the front free endpaper: "Purchased from Charles Henri Ford August 1985." Inscribed by American author, poet, and film critic Parker Tyler (1904-1974) to Charles Henri Ford on the front free endpaper. Charles Henri Ford (1908-2002) was an American poet, novelist, diarist, filmmaker, photographer, and collage artist. Tyler and Ford co-authored "The Young and Evil" (1933), written in an experimental style, and one of the first openly gay American novels. Tyler was enormously respected by numerous underground and experimental filmmakers of his time.
