8vo., neat contemporary inscription on title, later signature on front paste-down; original printed boards, front board mildly browned, front board detached else a bright, clean working copy. Revised and expanded version of the original edition of 1869. Cornish (1801-1874) was vicar and grammar school master of Ottery St. Mary. POSSIBLY A FAMILY COPY, since the inscription on title is signed and dated Eleanor Grace Cornish, 1911. VERY SCARCE. Brockett, 14160.
