This football safety played eight seasons for the Atlanta Falcons (1972-79), but battled depression caused by dementia as a result of traumatic brain injuries incurred playing football for the rest of his days; he joined other players in a class-action suit against the NFL, and committed suicide at age 62. Large and bold "Love in Jesus, / Ray Easterling / #32 / Atlanta Falcons" penned in black ballpoint on a special heavy stock 5" X 3" card, which he dates 6 December 1976. Fine.
