This child prodigy played for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (1898-1911); he also formed the Leon Marx String Quartette, later the Leon Marx Trio. Bold signature, heavy stock 3½" X 2½", n.p. [Chicago, IL], n.y. [1906]. Near fine. On a 2¼" X 1" slip (bearing a printed musical staff) neatly tipped to this heavy stock card, Marx signs in full directly across the staff. Uncommon.
