One of the few Mexicans who made it big in Hollywood in the golden years was this singer and actor, whose films include "The Big Broadcast of 1938" (1938)," Tropic Holiday" (1938), "St. Louis Blues" (1939), "The Llano Kid" (1939), "Brazil" (1944) and "The Gay Ranchero" (1948). Bold signature in black fineline on a heavy stock 5" X 3" card, n.p., n.y. Fine. Accompanied by a superb 10" X 8" glossy black-and-white flm scene from the 1945 American musical "Mexicana." Near fine. A tuxedo-clad Guizar is surrounded by a group pf admirers, including co-stars Constance Moore and Leo Carrillon, singing autographs. Great pair: A large later-life signature and outstanding WW2-era image.
