Add to basketSigned and inscribed by Ty Cobb: "Ty Cobb 9/14/55". Very good, with light soiling to the autographed side of the card, and brown tape residue to edges of the rear side. Encased in a PSA DNA certified slab. Overall, a great autograph. A somewhat controversial figure due to his ruthless win-at-all-costs mentality, Ty Cobb (1886 - 1961) is undoubtedly one of the very best MLB players of all time. Over his 24 years in the major leagues, he set 90 career or season records, including an incredible career batting average of .366, and 12 batting titles. He was one of the first five members inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936, the other four being Babe Ruth, Honus Wagner, Christy Mathewson, and Walter Johnson.
