Lithograph by Charles Fenderich of Congressman John H. Dickinson is signed by the artist in pencil lower right, and inscribed by Mr. Dickinson in pen "Your affectionate father John D. Dickinson," print says "Drawn on Stone" on the lower left. The lithographic print was printed in 1844 by Peter S. Duval of Philadelphia. There is a liquid stain on the upper edge, there is some foxing as well. The print measures 11.50x12.75", paper measures 12.50x16.5". Dickinson was a Representative from New York from 1819 to 1823 and again from 1827-1831. He was one of the original trustees of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. All orders packed with care, dust jackets protected by Brodart sleeve, independent bookseller since 2011. Seller Inventory # 10124
