The great Hungarian-born American violinist (1892-1973), was a student of Hubay. He made his debut in Berlin at age 13, and his first appearance in London at age 15. His U.S. debut was in the Beethoven concerto with Stokowski and the Philadelphia Orchestra in 1925. An elegant photo of the violinist, shown seated, holding his violin.
