JONES, James. Signed Photograph. An 8-inch by 10-inch black & white promotional photograph with a signed presentation from Jones in the upper corner: "To Marion Davies, with best wishes from James Jones." A promotional photoragph taken for NBC Television with lower caption discussing Jones, his novel "From Here To Eternity," and stating he is now working on his second book. In a nice 12-inch by 14-inch metal frame with mat. Nice condition (maybe a crease or two). While there is no provenance, the recipient may have been actress Marion Davies, who was also the paramour of William Randolph Hearst. Signed photographs of Jones are uncommon, especially nice, early ones. $475.00.
