This American operatic tenor was a mainstay of the Metropolitan Opera for many years. Signed Program, 8vo (5½" X 8½"), 4pp, n.p., n.y. Very good. Faint mounting traces on middle third of rear wrapper. Attractive program on buff stock for Crooks' appearance at the "Community Concert Association," listing a dozen pieces ranging from Handel and Schubert to Strauss and Brahms to be sung by Crooks. Crooks signs huge and bold in blue ink across the upper part of this text. Inner page (2) consist of text biography of Crooks and (3 and verso p. 4) brief description of each song. Undated, but appears to be of 1930s vintage.
