Pellico Silvio [Silvio Pellico (24 June 1789 - 31 January 1854) Italian writer, poet and dramatist] Mme Woillez [William Treves, an upholsterer, of a family of Dorset yeomen, and father of Sir Frederick Treves (15 February 1853 - 7 December 1923) a prominent British surgeon, and an expert in anatomy. Treves was renowned for his surgical treatment of appendicitis, and is credited with saving the life of King Edward VII in 1902.
