Folio. (50)pp, + 134ff plates. Illustrated with 134 examples of Brett's wood engravings. Number four in the Barbarian Press Endgrain Edition series of books on individual wood engravers. This volume includes an autobiographical Introduction by the featured artist, Simon Brett, a catalogue raisonnà of exhibitions in which his work was featured, a checklist of his published contributions as an artist, author, and editor, and a chronological listing of his engravings from 1961 to 2013. Jan Elsted printed the blocks, and Crispin Elsted assisted in the overall printing of the project. Fine in quarter green morocco with green, gilt-titled label inlaid and paper over boards printed from blocks engraved by the artist especially for this volume. Housed with proof in slipcase. One of 55 deluxe copies with an additional signed proof.
