Bound in full blue leather with elaborate gilt geometric decoration to the front and rear boards and gilt lettering and ornamentation to the raised-band spine. All page edges gilt, with silk moiré endpapers and an attached satin ribbon marker. No dust jacket was issued.

Near Fine condition. Binding is firm, square, and attractive, with bright gilt decoration and only minimal evidence of careful handling. The gilt page edges remain clean and bright with slight natural tonal variation visible under direct lighting. Interior pages are clean and unmarked. Signature is clear and well preserved.
