Smith Mapseller Extraordinary to his Majesty No 172 Strand 1824. - This is the 1824 edition with 51 different maps (countries like Germany and Hindoostan, take 4 pages each). With a beautiful chart illustrated of the voyages and travels of Captains Ross, Parry and Franklin. Etc, etc. Handcoloured engravings. Half leather marble cover, 20th century. With the title in gold and blind stamps on the spine. Allthough the cover is not original and there 's a light foxing in the last few maps all together a superb and complete copy. Size: 407 x 325 Mm.
