First American edition, first printing set of the epic fantasy series, complete (thus far) in five volumes, each volume signed by George R. R. Martin. The first four volumes inscribed to the recipient, who assembled this set; the other books are flat-signed. Includes the later Illustrated Edition of the first book in the series as well, also a signed first. All volumes bound in publisher's cloth and/or boards. Near Fine or better books, lightly shelf worn, in Near Fine or better dust jackets, all unclipped. Binder's error to A Storm of Swords, front free endpaper partially stuck to paste down. An attractive signed set.
