Vancouver, British Columbia. Privately printed by AJL Books. 2022. Folio (11 1/2 x 9). 152 pp. Limited Edition. Book number 11 of 24 copies printed. Signed by Art Lingren on a tipped-in card. With Art's dressed steelhead fly, "Lingren's Indispensable," on a size 5/0 low-water hook, mounted inside the front cover; signed by him under the fly. There are a multitude of color photos throughout the book showing Art and his friends fly fishing for steelhead and the occasional salmon in British Columbia's well-known rivers, along with many large and handsome steelhead. There's also sections devoted to fly patterns and books. The monograph is a thoughtful, retrospective autobiography by Mr. Lingren and his passion for this precious resource. You will enjoy it. The book is bound in gray leather spine with a red leather gilt titling label and red cloth boards. The slip case is also in matching red cloth. Beautiful and fine.
