About this Item
Nichols' debut novel of young love was a very successful, Academy Award winning 1969 film starring Liza Minnelli, Wendell Burton, directed by Alan Pakula in his debut. Most think the book is better than the film. This copy is a book club edition(BCE) simply signed by Nichols on the title page with the fine dustjacket in clear, archival covering. There is a previous owner's (he was an English professor at Kansas Wesleyan College) ownership plate on the inside cover. The book will be carefully wrapped and boxed for safe shipping.
