Broadside, 9 x 8 inches. listing toll rates for 11 traffic categories (e.g., "For a two-wheeled riding carriage," per five-mile section, 3 cents one way, 6 cents round trip). Employs several type sizes, one a large display type. The rates for the toll road, the Sistersville and Salem Turnpike, were fixed by the county court in July, 1891; other categories of traffic subject to the toll included cattle, sheep, and hogs, by the head, single riders on horseback, and various wagons and buggies. Apparently unrecorded on OCLC. A little edgewear, but very good. (8994).
