- 62 words typed on a sheet of his cream personalized letterhead, 11 inches high by 8-1/2 inches wide. Dated 'September 29, 1939". Signed "Raymond Gram Swing". Folded 3 times for mailing. Very good. Swing writes to a correspondent in Poughkeepsie, NY regretting that his busy broadcasting schedule prevents him from accepting her invitation to talk to the American Association of University Women. "I know I should have enjoyed meeting your members and particularly to have spoken in the service of your Scholarship Fund.".
