Octavo (6-1/4" x 9-1/2") bound in full native tappa with an introduction by Raymond Weaver who was most responsible for resurrecting Melville's reputation in the twentieth century. Copy #196 of 1500 numbered copies with lovely color illustrations by Miguel Covarrubias and SIGNED by the artist on the colophon page. Near Fine, lacking the slipcase.
