'Four engravings, coloured, and inlaid with gold, silver, and brass, according to the texts of scripture.' Last plate is detached but extant. Frontis lacks tissue guard. Boards rather rubbed, dulled and faded with some heavy staining, corners bumped, spine ends chipped. Some foxing, browning and smudge marks throughout, however, text is clear, plates clean and bright. Presentation inscription to verso of ffep, signed and dated 1847 by the author. Size: Elephant Folio.
