394pp. Red cloth, black lettering. frontispiece. Author black in signature and inscription, "A happy Xmas 1932 to Jack Willacy. Edgar Rice Burroughs" on the front free endpaper. On the verso of the copyright page it is signed and inscribed by Burrough's daughter and husband(who was the fourth film Tarzan); "Best Wishes to Jack Willacy, James H.Pierce, Joan Burroughs". There is lightening to othe lower right corner of the rearr panel, very light corner wear. A front panel lof the another jacket (exactly the same illustrations, possibly from a first ediition has been pasted onto the front pastedown. Below the author's inscription is the blurb from the front flap of the other jacket. The unclipped pictorial jacket of this edition is bright with minor wear to the extremities. in fresh mylar sleeve. "After killing Paulvitch, in self-defense, Jack(Tarzan's son) and Akut flee to Africa, where they assume the wild life of Jack's mighty sire. Growing to manhood in the jungle, the Greystoke heir earns the name Korak the Killer and befriends Meriem, an Arab waif rescued from a life of torment in her adoptive father's village."
