Hand numbered this being 1354/1500. Yellow and blue cloth boards with gilding on outer spines. Deckled fore edge and tail. Inked top edges. Color woodblock illustrations. Minor age wear to boards. Light soiling to endpapers. Pages are clean, bindings are tight. The Halcyon Press location/logo blind stamp on Vol. 1 title page. The Halcyon Press printer's mark on front free endpapers of Vol. II. Includes The Monthly Letter of The Limited Editions Club Number 42, November 1932 with separate one sheet on D'Artagnan with photographs. Brown slipcase with title on spine and limitation number of this edition on bottom of outer slipcase. Chipping, rubbing, scuffing, bumping and soiling to slipcase. Overall this is a beautiful printing/edition!
