Terms of sale
We accept checks and money orders in US $ only and payments through Paypal.
The Bear Bookshop charges $5.00 shipping and handling for the first volume, and
$1.50 for each additional volume in the United States. We generally ship by U.S. Postal Service special standard mail rate (book rate). We charge $7.00 for priority mail. Please specify which service you prefer when ordering.
For international customers, we ship global priority mail or 1st class mail.
Vermont residents please add 6% sales tax, or provide resale number.
All books are offered subject to prior sale. If we do not receive payment with
your order (e.g. if you are sending a check or money order), we will hold the
book for 1 week from the date of your email confirming that your check has been sent before allowing other customers to
purchase it. If you need more time, please email us. If you are not purchasing
the book, we would appreciate your letting us know immediately.

Shipping terms
Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. We've done so quite rarely over the years.
