Very good condition. Binding is square and sturdy. Original price written in pencil on the front free endpaper; pages are otherwise free of unwanted markings. Dust jacket is white and blue, with a black-and-white pictorial inset; glossy and clean, in very good condition. Light rubbing to back of jacket. Minor wear to edges and corners. Signed by the author, in black ink, on the title page. Illustrated with black-and-white photographs. About the Author
In 1978, Senator Daschle returned to South Dakota to run for the U.S. House of Representatives and won his first race by fourteen votes. He served in the House until 1986, when he ran for the Senate. He is married to Linda Hall Daschle and has three children and two grandchildren. Senator Daschle will donate his net proceeds from the sale of this book to charitable causes.
