Rose Marie Harper presents her works to us as a legacy to her family and friends that we may know her more intimately and appreciate more fully her sincere, deep and abiding love of God, His Gifts, and His People. She is aware that there are those of us who are too jaded, tired, and busy with daily living to put our thoughts in writing and to express our feelings about what we see, thing, hear and feel. And so she shares her thoughts with us in the form of poetry - over 170 poems, occasionally illustrated.

About the Author
Rose Marie Harper was born in Clayton, Missouri, the only daughter of Ed and Roselind Raining. After high school she graduated from The School of Speech of Northwestern University. She Married Byron Fletcher Harper, Jr., M.D., a cardiologist in Atlanta, Georgia, where she and her husband gave birth to three daughters and two sons. A dedicated church worker, she was instrumental in helping establish Christian City, Inc., which include a Home for Children, a retirement village, and a Convalescent Center. After the children left home, she went into politics and was the first woman elected to the Board of Commissioners in Fayette County, Georgia. As a mother, homemaker, doctor's wife, politician, speaker, writer, poet, and musician, she claims as her greatest accomplishments, a marriage blessed by God, and raising of five, godly children.
