Two Birds Flying

A lovely gift book, with a spiritual orientation. To quote the author: "Sometimes I look around and decide that the world is a dark and lonely place. But then I look up, and I see two birds flying. They speak to me of life . . . shared by God with man."

Here is a book of wisdoms, reflections and humor to read again and again, with renewed pleasure each time. As refreshing as a stimulating conversation with a good friend.

In TWO BIRDS FLYING, Phyllis Stillwell Prokop, accomplished and versatile author, combines her writing talents with the artistic talents of her son, B. Kimball Prokop, for a delightful and scenic journey into thoughts about life and nature.

To try to force another to live out your unique dream is to rob two -- yourself, since you have diluted your dream by taking it from its true nurturing nest and forcing it into an alien refuge; and the other, since he has had to lay aside his own dream to accept yours.

Even the bark of each forest tree stands apart with its own original and separate design -- a design too deeply patterned in immemorial dream to permit change.
